Honoured to Participate and Deliver an Invited Lecture at WCES 2025 – Singapore
It was a great honour to participate in World Congress of Endoscopic Surgery 2025, one of the world’s most prestigious gatherings in minimally invasive and advanced surgical sciences.
During the congress, I had the privilege of delivering an invited lecture on the innovative technique of Yellow Enhancement (YE) — a novel advancement in surgical visualisation technology developed in collaboration with Olympus Japan.
I was proud to introduce the concept of Yellow Colour-Coded Surgery and present our pioneering work on Colour-Coded Surface Surgery procedures, innovations that have the potential to significantly enhance surgical precision, tissue differentiation, and operative safety.
A special highlight was presenting our experience with YE-assisted breast surgery, demonstrating how enhanced visualisation technologies can contribute to the future of precision surgery.
The conference also provided a valuable opportunity to interact and exchange ideas with several globally respected leaders in surgery, including Dr. Barry Salky, Prof. Nicole Bouvy, Prof. Natan Zundel, and Dr. Eduardo Targarona, among many others.
It was equally gratifying to share the progress of the Association of Robotic and Innovative Surgeons Fellowship Programme, which continues to emerge as an important platform for robotic and innovative surgical training in India. Discussions around the upcoming Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo-Surgeons–ELSA collaborative initiatives further strengthened international academic ties and future opportunities for surgical education.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Davide Lomanto and the WCES–ELSA Singapore organising team for their warm invitation and impeccable hospitality.
Special thanks to Olympus Japan for their trust and collaboration in introducing Yellow Enhancement technology and supporting our continued work in surgical innovation.
